Actually that did not work.
What I instead did was started Firefox and then from the attributes 
chose application specific then chose 'no start icon'.
Restarted Firefox and another icon showed in the space.

Dragged that to the clip and just made sure that one Firefox Icon 
settings shows firefox (64 bit) as the start command, and the other 
firefox-bin (32-bit).

Interesting bit, when Firefox is started, both icons show it.
