 General EDIT: Please add a paragraph or two indicating under what conditions you used the mug.  As you've owned it for several years we don't need specifics, but perhaps give a summary and one or two extreme conditions.
  
 ### REI has left this stainless steel mug unchanged over the years for the basic reason that it works. ###
 EDIT: You don't know this for a fact. As such it's what BGT calls "projection," and not allowed. You could fix by adding "I suspect" at the beginning of the sentence.
  
 ### The handle is sturdy and has holes available to carabiner it to your pack. ###
