The October Call for Owner Reviews is for Hydration, Water Treatment, Gear Storage (home, vehicle, or elsewhere) and Footwear of all types.
The changing of the seasons is the perfect time to get outside and squeeze the last little bit of joy out of nature. But, while you are busy, busy, busy, don't forget about BGT.
Did you know your Owner Reviews play a vital role in keeping BGT stocked with relevant and helpful gear reviews for our viewers? Please consider how you can positively impact the hiking community by writing an OR this month. Each OR relevant to the monthly call that is submitted, edited and uploaded will earn you one Brownie Point. BP's puts you on the fast track to gear you want to test. So by giving back to your fellow outdoor enthusiast, you too are rewarded. What a deal!
For ideas on what others have written please refer to http://www.backpackgeartest.org/reviews/ page for sub-categories. Obviously, original items not already listed are strongly encouraged as long as they fit BGT standards.
The fine print: ORs do not need to comply with the Monthly Call to be posted in any given month but only ORs relevant to the call receive Brownie Points.
