Werner Peak Lookout, Montana - A Room with a View
Werner Peak Lookout sits 6,960 feet atop the Whitefish Mountain Range
approximately 23 miles from the city of Whitefish. The lookout features
picturesque 360 degree views of the Whitefish Mountain Range, Glacier
National Park and Flathead valley. The historic Ralph Thayer Memorial
Trail runs adjacent to the lookout. This trail is part of a trail system
that extends from Werner Peak to Diamond Peak and Red Meadow Lake.
