Re: Your opinion...overnighter turned nasty...

Nobody has discussed the experience and morale of your group.
First: if you thought you should get out, you were probably right.
but if you thought you could have hunkered down, you probably could have
done that also.

Second: I assume you have done similar trips before, so you knew your
equipment and your own capabilities.
