Your best bet is either the Nook or Kindle ecosystem, because both have a lot of eBooks available for them. At 6 to 7.5 ounces they're still lighter than carrying seven or eight paperback books with you (you can easily read seven or eight books before needing to charge them), but you can *get* books for them -- a lot of books, at reasonable prices. Kobo is pretty much stuck with accessing smaller eBook stores that have higher prices and less selection than Amazon and B&N.
