Some people like something "The way they are sold" others do not mind 
"fiddle factor".
I am one that really likes a bit of fiddle factor. It's the way I brew my 
coffee for one.
I consider the bag a disposable item, even if it does have lifetime 
warranty. That's why I have so many Platy bags. I don't trust any of them to 
carry my water. I always have more bags than I need. I guess I learned that 
hiking in Grand Canyon.
