The Final Draft Plans are scheduled to be considered for adoption by the Alameda CTC Board on Thursday, October 25th, after being taken through three committees in October, as noted below. > > Together, the Draft Countywide Pedestrian and Bicycle Plans lay out the vision and steps for making Alameda County a safe and convenient place for walking and bicycling over the next 28 years. The plans describe the existing walking and bicycling conditions in the county, the priorities for countywide bike and pedestrian funding for both capital projects and programs, the total costs to implement the priorities, total expected revenue and next steps for implementing the plans. > > The Final Draft Plans incorporate or respond to, as appropriate, the comments received on the Draft Plans, which were released in June 2012. Six committees and over 65 people provided over 270 individual comments on the Draft Plans. Alameda CTC will issue a table of all comments received and a response to these comments by this Friday (9/28), which will be posted on the plan updates web page. > > Comments > · Please submit any written comments by Monday, October 15th at 12:00 Noon to me, using the attached comment form (it is also posted on the plan updates web page). Comments received by this date will be compiled and presented to the Alameda CTC Board for its consideration for incorporating into the final plans. > · Or, provide in-person comments at the Thursday, October 4th Countywide BPAC meeting, or another public meeting, as listed below. > > Public Meetings > In October, the Final Draft Plans will be presented at the four public meetings listed below.
