=v= Motorists are angered anyway, it comes from huffing exhaust.
At any rate, it's not an either/or situation; I take the lane
and ride Critical Mass, and we had an absolutely fantastic time
last night.  A lot of the ride veterans came back to town from
wherever they'd moved to and got to see what a generation of
direct bike activism has made of San Francisco.
