I've been tossing the idea of "permissions" around in my head for 
a while.  "Current bounds of the relationship" seems like a 
similar idea.

Yeah, that's a sure trust-buster.  (Isn't it?)

I haven't noticed that trust is something I think about often in 
my day to day interactions.  (Unless you count my 600+ decisions 
every day not to "click here for more information" about some 
amazing e-mail offer.  Those are all based at least partly on trust.)

I'm raising the issue because I regularly hear that trust is a 
sometimes a key factor in people's decisions about whether to do 
what someone else has asked, and I want to understand more about 
that.
