Hello,
There seems to be an echo in here.
I wonder where everyone went to.
Maybe if I turn on the lamp I can see where they are.
(click) Well thats better. Lots of chairs here. Lots of books to.
Did they all go on vacation and left the door unlocked??

How did you come to be here?
Well I stopped over at Dales house (website) and it suggested that a 
good conversation would be happening at the R-A-A-R group meeting.

How do you feel about being here?
After reading through all 276 messages that I know some folks here 
already. Maybe not by name, but definaltly by thoughts.

What would you like to have happen here?
A discussion about the concept of resistance. In ourself, in others.

And one more question: 
What else would you like us to know about you?
I am a technology person that has to deal with a lot of resistance 
from my crew, my bosses, the economy, of course myself.

I am a project facilitator/mediator that works with people to get 
software projects accomplished. my work is through other peoples 
hands. I may know how to do the job at hand, but there are so many 
tasks that I cannot do them all myself. 
I am a mediator with the Justice of the Peace courts here in Houston 
Texas USA.

I read alot. Books on technology, books on mediation, books on 
facilitation, books on ..... well you get the idea. :)

I recently read the book "Leading Geeks" by Paul Glen. Very good 
read.

One of my favorite books is "Trust and Betrayal in the workplace" by 
Drs Michelle & Dennis Renia. Excellent read. touches on many of the 
posts here at R-A-A-R.

I will be attending the IAF conference in Scottsdale Arizona in a 
few weeks.
