Lowell, Thank you for clarifying for me. I agree with the value of broader perspectives. Though I have some roots in the "Weinborg" I assure you I have left the collective some years back. I deeply appreciate what I learned from Jerry and his community AND there is so much more out there as you said. I'm not sure what you mean by "Weinberg > school" of software people thought. Can you say more about > what it is? Wayne. In following the groups, sites, and dicussions on the people issues in software teams and organizations, most of what I see seems to have its core in the writings of Gerry Weinberg. Please do not misinterpret. I think this is a great thing. I can only hope to appreciate a fraction of what he has offered to the industry during my time in it. I have also been exposed to lots of org theory from worlds that are not close to software development. The perspectives are a little different and there is a lot to learn from the exploration of different schools of thought. My emphasis was intended to be on the benefits of broader perspectives, not in anyway to be critical to a single perspective. This emphasis was intended in both the XP and GW comments. Lowell Yahoo!
