In no way follow the factory torque specs or process with ARP or Raceware head studs. Factory are stretch bolts that torque to a low spec then multiple, half turns beyond that. The fine thread studs will call for a lower than conventional (non stretch) torque spec. From my experience, exceeding the stud manufacturer's specs by a little seems to hold up better. (at least on the old 1.5)
