Hi, wondering about the tandem pump servicing??I have been trying to get rid of a fuel seep on myGolf. Many posts on the rear tandem metal crush gasket leaking between the pumpand the head. So, I changed this last week, the car seems to be running betteroverall, so I do think that was seeping or leaking air, not sure. BUT.I still see wetness in the 10AM area around the pump, not so much as before, but enough that I can smell the fuel at a traffic light, no drips, just aweep. The only thing left to change is a rubber hose from the tandem pump to the fuelrail on top of headORremove the face plate to the tandem pump andreplace this seal. Does anyone know if you can get this seal for the tandem pump on the PD motors? Or, do you have to replace the entire tandem pump. IfI can not get the seal for the pump, I will try and goop seal it from theoutside, but I really need clean things up good and see if I can pin pointwhere the leak is coming from. thanks Bryan Belman, Pt.
