so both of the attached tripoint stretching diagrams
simply reflect the positions indicated on the above
soviet topos

the former is just my most carefully plotted guess
but in the case of the latter
the ibs indicate the tripoint is specifically at the
thalweg junction of the kara su & arax


& so the box score thus far

afghanistan 6
albania 3
algeria 6
andorra 2
angola 3
argentina 4
armenia 5
austria 9
azerbaijan 6 but including the 4 with armenia already
counted above

which btw are just the first of what would be very
numerous repetitions throughout the list if we counted
the tripoints once for each country

but anyway thats 40 tripoints down already without
counting any twice 
or nearly one quarter of the world class completed
before even reaching the letter b

for combining the groups of 3 iso digraphs
alphabetically produces only a small handful of
hexaglyphs in the second half of the alphabet

indeed the alphabetically last tripoint in the world &
omega point or ultimate destination of our tour is not
in zimbabwe as one might expect without considering
how we have frontloaded the alphabet
but will be coming up as soon as rwtzug
