thank you my dear old friend

& please have no regret

i didnt mean to imply you have ever given up on
anything

but multipointing was indeed the original & unique &
especial focus of the group
a full month before the word multipointing was even
invented

& only some years later did it apparently become the
merely dominant focus

& only now
many years later
does it seem to have become the no longer even
particularly honored focus
but only a hedged & hemmed & hawed focus among perhaps
many
thanx to our sheepish phantom benefactor

but fortunately your original description is still
available on line in this message from 2001
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/BoundaryPoint/message/3137
where you can see it again for yourself

& otherwise i would never have accepted your kind
invitations to immoderately moderate it from day one
& later to be an owner & copilot with you
& today an acknowledged owner emeritus with you

for our multidimensional pursuit of happiness is
definitely something worth standing for & not giving
up on

& if i didnt know from experience that it has such
great value
i wouldnt continue to stand for it so emphatically

& i am sure my continued insistence on it hasnt caused
any rift
nor any upset nor any alienation

on the contrary

it is the drift & upset of the focus that has caused
any rift or upset or alienation in the people
& could only continue to widen & deepen these

moreover
now that we have also been shorn of our slightly
strange aspect
which nevertheless remains perhaps our most precious
asset imo
& i again salute you for having encapsulated this idea
so eloquently
we have become practically indistinguishable from all
the normal unidimensional sheep of the world our
benefactor personality so capably & unstrangely
embodies

& i say this not ad hominem since we dont even know he
is a man yet
& i do assume he means well but just doesnt realize
what he is doing

also bill
if i may say so
taking action against anything is the worst thing you
can do

for it only makes the thing you oppose that much
stronger

it is a cosmic law

if you want something to go away
far better to ignore it or laugh at it than stand or
act in opposition to it

stand & act for things you want & like rather than
against anything you dont

but anyway i am so very glad you are back in strength
