Being new to this group, I don't know about "Mike's" carrying on, but it sounds more interesting than what we have now:) Daryl ----- Original Message ---- From: "[email protected]" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Tuesday, January 30, 2007 5:17:15 AM Subject: [BoundaryPoint] My Two Cents Having watched this group become practically silent the past few months, it seems obvious to me that the cause is the (presumed) banning of Mike Donner, the infamous "alathelia kallos." Mike was a pain in the butt, and his rants complaining about those who strayed from the purity of multipointing, combined with weird use/non-use of punctuation and non-capitalization could get annoying. BUT, like it or not, he was the one who kept the pot boiling, and I for one miss his frequent posts on a wide range of topics. Does anyone believe this group is better for his absence? Quieter, yes. More civil, yes. More interesting, NO! My suggestion is to invite Mike back into the group and live with his eccentricities. If he gives someone a hard time occasionally for straying from the path of purity of multipointing, so what? Let him rant. Sticks and stones...... . Anyone else want to weigh in?
