I'm not getting too excited about a chat via computer-
but there are cell phones accessible to me that have
unlimited calling on the weekends - so we could set up a
time for me to call you - or any one else where a realtime
conversation would be good.

(I totally missed, and am unable to find any reference to
the chat for the belize ev - ah I found it. If things work
out I may come watch. If I say anything other than Hi, I'd
be surprised)

instead. :) -- that and I need to read some Zerzan (and
Nathaniel Altman's writings in both _The Non-Violent
Revolution_ and _Ahimsa: Dynamic Compassion_ (all this is
provoked by wishing to understand what is behind the Belize
EV and related activities, pardon the parentheses)).
Jensen's book is looking to be quite something (have any of
you read it?) - Sandrine, your story comes to mind- and I'm
hardly past the preface.  )

It isn't super-news to any of you, but sometimes I find it
helpful to be more rather than less familiar with these
things. It is long and well done, describing the pathology
of the tax-subsidized US healthcare system / culture &
suggests a new (and yet very old and very simple) way of
addressing the problems & fits well in the context of what
little I have already read of Jensen.

It does relate to the question of this group, "If you were
to construct a physical (political, etc.,)  capitol for our
culture, what would it be like?" It can also provide
background for helping us define how our culture is / should
be. I hesitate to even mention the article, because in the
framework of the anarcho-primitivists / (blackandgreen.org),
the issues in the article are non-issues(?), and this is
about our culture not the rest of the U.S.. If our culture
were to be evangelical (and some of it is) - this is a
useful article.

That is not organized thought- in time I should have a
better idea how to work with new data with respect to the
our culture our capitol question.

As always, feel free to question / further attempt to define
the question.

If we can develop a vision of how all the projects (and
lives) we're working on relate and work together and can
organize our lives and our responses to new information in
the context of that vision, something special will happen?
