sian eraran rigardon al Esperanto.

Estos tre afable, se bonvolas tie
- *malŝati la filmeton,*
- *ŝati komentojn*, kiuj pozitive kaj realisme prezentas Esperanton kaj
ĝian komunumon,
- *eble eĉ aldoni propran komenton*, en kiu vi prefere nur pozitive
prezentas vian sperton kun Esperanto (do ne ataku iun ajn, tio kutime ne
helpas).

Philip Gooden parolas pri Esperanto kiel afero de la pasinteco. Ekzemple li
diras

"There were certainly Esperanto societies." (Certe ekzistis
Esperanto-asocioj.)

kaj

"It's faded." (Ĝi malfortiĝis.)

Asertoj, kiuj evidente ne ĝustas konsiderante la ĉeeston de Esperanto en la
interreto kaj la amasan lernadon tie.

Legeblas ekzemple (mi tradukis):

- Estis provoj krei artefaritajn lingvojn (...), sed ĉiuj tiuj provoj
malsukcesis.

- Lingvoj devas kreski ekde la grundo. Vi ne povas konstrui ilin kiel
domon, ili fakte devas nature kreski aŭ organike ekde la grundo.

Kiel skribite, estos tre afable, se vi ĉe youtube esprimos vian malŝaton de
la filmeto aŭ ŝaton de Esperanto-pozitivaj komentoj, eble eĉ enmetos
propran komenton kiel eble plej afablan.

Intertempe mi ricevis kopion de reago de la redakcio de Business Insider UK
(al retletero de iu alia). Tekstas:

"We have reached out to Philip and he stands by what he said in the video
so we are happy to leave the video as it is."
(Proksimume: Ni kontaktis al Philip kaj li restas ĉe tio, kion li diris en
la filmeto - do ni lasas la filmeton kiel ĝi estas.)

Business Insider jam antaŭe asertis, ke ekzistas por ili neniu devigo ŝanĝi
la filmeton, ĉar temas pri opinio de "lingvo-fakulo". (Laŭ mia impreso
Gooden estas fakulo ĉefe pri la angla lingvo.)

Estas notinde, ke Philip Gooden menciis Esperanton jam en sia verko

En tiu verko li parolas interalie pri la takso de 1,5 milionoj da

Iom alia impreso ol li donis en la ĵusaj asertoj.

Flanke mi atentigas ankaŭ, ke Business Insider afable enmetis ligilon al
esperanto.org

Estas bedaŭrinde, ke ili ŝajne ne vidas, ke ĉe Esperanto temas nur tre
malgrandparte pri "provo popularigi Esperanton", sed plejparte simple pri
uzado de Esperanto. Ni devos ankoraŭ multon fari por ŝanĝi la perceptadon
de la ekstera mondo...

Esperanto.

He says

I would very much appreciate, if you would like to correct the misguiding
impression the words of Philip Gooden give to the visitors of your site.

I am very much aware that there is a lot of mispresentation about the
Esperanto community - so it is not really amazing for me, if there is one
more.

It would be very kind of you, if in addition to this, in a new article, you
could present to your readers the reality of Esperanto today - with all
that is in the Esperanto culture.

Probably the fact that Esperanto is much quicker to learn than other
languages (about a fourth of the time needed for other languages) is rather
important for your readers.
