To: <[email protected]> Saluton, The Esperanto Association of Britain (EAB) will have a stand at the Language Show at the Olympia <https://goo.gl/maps/69tvzRWbQsBx6S747> in November. We need some volunteers to do 4-hour shifts (see below) to answer questions, inform visitors about things such as how to learn Esperanto, courses in the UK and abroad, exams, experiences using the language, etc. We'll have leaflets and booklets to give out to appropriate people and some people might even decide they want to know more. Thousands of people over the course of three days will be visiting the exhibition. Our stand will be near the end of the circuit, so they'll already have had a chance to visit the stands involving languages they already know plus all the big-name publishing firms. Most will walk by us but a few might be intrigued. And that's where the volunteers come in. You're all faces demystifying Esperanto! *Friday, 15th November: * 1st shift: 10am - 2pm 2nd shift: 2pm =E2=80=93 6pm *Saturday, 16th November:* 1st shift: 10am - 2pm 2nd shift: 2pm =E2=80=93 6pm *Sunday, 17th November:* 1st shift: 10am - 2pm 2nd shift: 2pm =E2=80=93 *5*pm Ideally we would like to have *2 or 3 volunteers for each shift *which means we need about 10/15 people in total. Of course it=E2=80=99s possible = to do more than one shift J (in fact, that would really help if you could). I will do a few shifts myself starting on the Friday.
