Vivisimo clustering FindLaw results

Since Orion Wolff brought up Vivisimo (welcome, Orion!), I'd like to throw 
out for discussion today how it refines FindLaw, even though Vivisimo is on 
the schedule for tomorrow. I just ran "nominee corporation" through 
Vivisimo's FindLaw page at http://vivisimo.com/demos/FindLaw.html. The 
results came back in two columns. The left column displayed the top 160 
results for the search. Each search result had a heading that was 
hyperlinked to the underlying document, an excerpt from the document 
containing highlighted search terms, and the URL.  The left column 
clustered the results into a series of folders with headings like "Nevada," 
"Nominee Services," "Offshore" and "Delaware Corporation." The number of 
results under each heading appeared in parentheses next to the heading. 
When I opened a folder by clicking on it, I then saw a series of 
sub-folders with headings and the number of results under each.

Has anyone else tried this?

Can you explain what Vivisimo is doing and how it does it, Orion?
