Day 5: Meta-searching & beyond: Local Search

One other topic I would like our experts to cover on this last day is that of "local search."  There are several new search tools that allow you to focus your search in your geographic area.  Want to find a plumber in your neighborhood?  Don't use the Yellow Pages; these search engines want to find one for you.  I know that Chris and Danny have talked a great deal about local search over at Search Day.  Can you fill us in on the concept of local search, and why it's said to be the future of search?
