RE: Assistance Needed

Have to agree with the 20" monitor. It seems like an 
unnecessary extravagance until you actually get used to 
working with it. I have one now and have found it invaluable 
because I can work on two pages side-by-side (notes on one 
side, memo or whatever else on the other). Multiple monitors 
can also be good when doing research since you won't be 
spending time Alt-Tabbing back and forth. I wasn't willing 
to add extra weight in the laptop (mine weighs in under 4 
lbs, which is nice when traveling a lot), so this makes 
working in the office much nicer.

To add to that, some sort of backup solution for the computer
(s), whether it's as simple as burning CDs or plugging in an 
external USB/Firewire hard drive or a more sophisticated 
automated backup solution including (or not) offsite 
storage.
