         This is a problem that has arisen a fair number of times and there 
are probably ways to find out how they were resolved. On the other hand, 
your timing may be perfect. ICANN, the entity that oversees the domain name 
system, just appointed it first ombudsperson. This might be a nice first 
case for him.
