Space Shuttle Item #10

One item corrected:  the 9:16AM EST mentioned earlier was the Estimated
Time of Arrival [ETA] of the Columbia, not the last data received.

New information

10.  The media haven't been willing to mention any of the wreckage seen
     on the ground.  I have seen three pieces, two of which I guess are
     from the smaller top engines at the base of the tail.  One cowling
     piece, the curved piece surrounded by the triangle of yellow tape,
     which appears to be the engine covering you see bulging out around
     the bottom of the tail, and one engine, I would guess the one from
     underneath that cowling.  [Cowlings are the rounded casing, around
     engines, throughout much of the history of flight.]  The one other
     piece has corrugations underneath, thus giving the impression of a
     more structural piece of the shuttle.
