Michael Hart in New England???

Help, I need a place to stay between NYC and Hartford,
for some time in July.

It's time for my annual trip to New England, but there
is a snag, as nearly all of the various support items,
paid speeches, places to stay, etc., have dried up and
the price of gas has gone through the roof.

This trip has been previously subsidized by Joe Secor,
my best friend, Marvin Minsky at MIT, and usually some
other interested party, as well as the conferences I'm
usually speaking for.

This year Joe is in the middle of moving, Minsky quite
literally lost the funding for my annual presentation,
and nothing has shown up to take their places.

I used to go out right before July 4, and spend a week
or three with Joe, intermittently going off to give an
already scheduled presentation or two, sometimes three
of these, which, at best, made the trip break even.

I don't really have to be there that early, it is just
nice to see the fireworks with Joe and his wife as our
annual getogether, and celebrate their anniversary and
Joe's birthday.

This year the only presentation I have is "LAST HOPE,"
taking place July 18-20, for which I have a place, and
then Joe's birthday on July 25th.

However, before we realized the moving was going to do
a complete interruption of my staying with them, Joe's
vacation time had to be planned a year in advance, per
company policy, so Joe has the week after July 4 off.
