Ok. . .For the very first time, I've actually made a prediction, that Project Gutenberg will reach 8,000 eBooks on May 21. . . . Actually, I gave us an extra day, just in case, but we are now officially scheduled to be on TechTV. . .live. . .on May 22, to announce that we reached the 8,000 eBook milestone. . . . If you are near Chicago, and would like to be part of this, just let me know. . . . In addition, we have also reserved December 10, 2003, in San Francisco, for a much larger event, also to be televised live on TechTV, to announce our 10,000th eBook, perhaps also to be co-sponsored by archive.org. . . .
