It seems to me that if there was less eye rolling that would just be 
nice and a sign of respect--separating issues of 'taste' from those of 
quality.  Romance and erotica is part of the industry, in fact a very 
large, vigorous, innovative and profitable part.  About 20% of 
publishng overall and at least 50% of epublishing by my own estimate.  

So when I join a group about ebooks it seems odd to hit the usual 
assumptions that romance is a lesser form of publishing that some 
people suggest we should be ashamed of?  I read most genres and have 
respect of all of them, and that includes pornography, soft or hard, so 
long as it is well written and properly marketed to adults.
