This is all irrelevant. All I'm suggesting is that Amazon should accept and use ISBNs FROM THOSE PUBLISHERS THAT USE THEM.

Huh?

I don't see the ISBN in any link. What do you mean?

Why didn't Amazon simply do what they did with print books? Use the ISBN when available, and use a new number when its not?

Pointless to guess, yes.

Pointless to complain, no.

If I complain and they finally see reason and change, then the industry can develop better than it is now.

If I don't complain, it may be that nothing will change.
