I guess my next question would have to do with numbers of P-books
sold, and without seeing the actual accounting records filed for tax
purposes, I'd take nobody's word on that matter. Since the posting of
accounting records isn't likely to happen in a discussion group, this
topic is probably nearing its end.

As one who has for years done the majority of my reading on a laptop
or desktop computer, I've lost touch with paper. There's an emergency
paperback in my car, one in my backpack, and a few milk crates full of
paperbacks I've yet to get to in the garage since 1991.

I'll run a little experiment in my private sales groups to see how
many would buy paper versions if they cost around $15.
Figuring maybe half the people who'd show initial interest might
actually buy, I'll see if I can rustle up enough potential customers
to justify the time and trouble of prepping POD files and choosing a
POD pubber when I could otherwise be working on my latest book.
