Brad, if I may make a suggestion? Just a thought on the matter. I
agree that a web presence would help build the list.

With Jon's indulgence, I'd like to suggest a blog that contains
whatever content he feels most appropriate to it (with permission, if
anything on list is to be used, of course). Each post could note (with
a link) that the information or discussion is ongoing on this list.

In addition, every one of us are free to blog about subjects rolling
around, due to discussions here. We can certainly point people toward
this group, when we do. Of course, copyright of the poster being
paramount, I don't suggest even paraphrasing something someone else
said on here. Ask for permission, if you want to use what someone else
has posted, obviously.

And, if we had a graphic for this group, we could place it with the
banners or icons of other professional groups we belong to, on our web
sites, with an embedded link to the Yahoogroup page.

In short, drumming up new people is as simple as a concerted effort on
the web, without sacrificing the ease of dealing with a mailing list
environment. Since so many of us would lose out in a forum or
blog-only environment, why not supplement what we have already? As I
said, just a thought.
