Everyone note that I have reserved the domain name:

   http://www.ebookcommunity.org/

(Unfortunately, I should have reserved the .com and .net equivalents
when I got the .org. Now others have taken those. I think all the
"ebook-community.*" domains are free to use, though.)

Currently the home page of this domain is a "holder", with simple
pointers to core group resources, but it is a place we can build on
if we want.

This is what I suggested in my prior message: that we build upon the
traditional "listserv" that underpins this group.

As noted:

1) YahooGroups is a "web forum" overlay (albeit not that good) to the
   core "listserv". Some TeBC subscribers may not even realize this.

2) One may get RSS feeds of new messages thus not requiring one to
   receive the messages by email or to visit Yahoo's web interface to
   look for new messages.

3) It is intriguing to build other "web interfaces" to the core
   "listserv".

and to add:

4) Brenna's suggestion of a blog is very intriguing. Maybe a blog
   devoted for smaller ebook publishers and self-published authors to
   have a place to write their articles. We could call it the eBook
   Community blog.

   (Now David's TeleRead is actually a good place for such articles,
   since David has opened up his blog for new writers, so long as they
   follow his pretty minimal requirements. So that could be the eBook
   Community's blog. David, what sayest thou?)


Anyway, to summarize, I don't see we are stuck in an either/or
situation, but rather have a whole grab-bag of possiblities.
