I get $540 a month from social security.

Last two tanks of furnace oil cost over $600.  And lasted less than a 
month.  I managed to save up $1200 over the summer.  I was broke over 
a month ago.

Fortunately I have almost two rooms of mainly used books.  And the 
Gutenberg Project furnishes a lot of out-of-print books and stories.

I'm not capable of a book a day like I used to.  But at times, I come 
close.
