I sat around listening to 'don't panic' when Amazon deleted all my 
ebooks for not being Mobi-version.  They have already cut off Whiskey 
Creek Press, Pawprints and Publish America from direct sales because 
they use a different printer.

I don't think I am being hysterical in saying this approach is 
hostile and greedy.  A store, online or physicsl, should not dictate 
what printer you use.

I have bought around 30,000 dollars worth of goods from Amazon over 
the years, but no more.  I have suspended purchasing from amazon and 
the only question now is which is better B&N or Powells online?

And I would note that so far none of my publishers have been affected-
-I don't feel that is the point.  I just hope Borders rolls their 
beta online store out live real soon.
