As a user and long time bêta-tester of Forte Agent email and news
reader, I can tell you that this is a normal behaviour - sort of.
It is caused by original limitations in the mail formats, in
association with the use of Unicode for representing chars. I just
read a long and convoluted explanation of this, and my conclusion is
that there is not much to be done, expecially when URLs are increased
in length by parameters. The problem is with the length of the URL and
its actual contents (number of bytes any given char may take in
unicode, from 1 to 3).
The problem could be at the sender's side, or at yours. I see you are
using Thunderbird - much better than OE is - which can't correct it,
however.
