Would you agree that, ideally, both devices should use the same
purchased ebook format? That way, if you start out with the low
cost one, you can still buy any ebooks you want, but if you
upgrade to the fancy device - or a multifunction device that
includes ebook functions - you don't have to re-buy everything.
This, of course, is not easy. A single format that works
effectively in both a bare bones $30 reader and a $3000 desktop -
a 100 to 1 cost ratio! - is not an easy thing to achieve.
