Well, it looks like future competition for SITB won't be coming from Microsoft.  The New 
York Times has an article dated today and headlined "Microsoft Shuts Down Book Search".  
According to the article, Microsoft "...will shut down the Live Search Books and Live Search 
Academic Web sites and stop scanning library and copyright books..."
