Re: Paul Krugman holds forth on the future of publishing

Would you do the same for musical performances, Jean-Baptiste?  Pay the performer or 
group for the number of hours they spent recording a song, but the music would have to 
become public domain?  And for movies, pay the actors for the time the spent on camera, 
but films would have to become public domain?  Any reason that musicians or actors as 
well as writers should be paid beyond a fair amount of money for the number of hours 
that they worked?
