Problem is, all the ones you listed are good choices. You'll have to decide on which features you want/don't want and how much you want to spend. You may want Mobipocket support. eReader support may be more up your alley. You may want Whispernet to get near immediate downloads for the Kindle. Maybe you don't care about over the air sync and don't mind attaching your reader to your desktop to add/change content. You may have a limited budget or have gobs of money to spend. There are too many variables for someone to be able to tell you "get this one." Some people on this group have no intention of ever buying an e-reading device and happily read them on their computer/laptop or PDA type device (although that is not for me). Some are waiting for the prices to get substantially lower while some are currently happy owners of the Kindle, the Sony Reader, the Cybook, the iLiad, or another brand. If you are close to a BestBuy, they usually have a Sony Reader on display. You can stop by and check out the eInk technology in person. There are reviews available on line for just about all of them. Pick the features that are important to you and research which one will best meet those needs. Take your time, read up on them all. Thankfully, it doesn't look like ereaders are going anywhere anytime soon.Everyone will try and tell you the one they have is the best but only you can make that determination.Good luck and share whichever one you decide to get with the group. Hello! I'm fairly new to this whole ebook (have purchased a few

shelves, plus I want to say a tree :) Here's my dilema- which reader
device!!!???? I"M SOOOOO CONFUSED?! Get one that's mobic /// also
want to make sure my purchase isn't going to go "dead" fairly quickly
if you understand. Any suggestions? EBookwiese CYbook BeBook SONY

Thank you in advance for all your words of wisdom ;)
