Nifty Things to Do With a Dual-Display Device

Researchers at Maryland and Berkeley Universities have developed a
dual-display e-reader prototype. And they seem to be using the capabilities
of dual displays in ways more than simply cosmetic (as past 2-page readers
have). Not only can you "turn the page" by manipulating the screens like
you're flipping a page in a book, you can also turn them back to back to
view both sides of a document like a two-sided piece of paper—or you can
separate them to view two different documents simultaneously (including
documents with different aspect ratios so that one would be viewed in
portrait and the other in landscape).
