I use a program called SnagIt that was about $29 and allows me to capture anything and everything online or my pc. Even movies. I use it to capture screens when I'm writing procedures or teaching a "how-to" class. It can be saved in many formats.
Once you get past the encryption screen, there's just about no way to protect anything published in any format.
I got an ebook recently that requires an encryption code to read. I've had it a good six months and haven't read it yet. Too much trouble to mess with - since I am constantly interrupted.
Talk to Adobe online - you may need a different version of the program to be able to block or protect your work. In my experience, tho, screencaps (captures) are an easy way around.
