You either have starting some new group in mind or you're ready to
drop affiliations and responsibilities regarding this group.

In either case, there's no need to close it.

Just hand me the keys and I'll appoint a few mods to zap spammers and
approve new members.

This is one of the few ebook-related groups that isn't a waste of time.
Kill it and I'll just restart it, so why not just abdicate the throne
if that's all you really want to do?
I know how it is to get tired of something.
