The manner of collection was a polling placed on the LLP site (you didn't
have to "sign in" or give information to vote...just show up and two
clicks). It was passed from list to list by word of mouth...not just to
handheld users...to anyone who reads e-books and wouldn't mind taking a
moment to go answer one question about their reading habits. I don't think I
passed it here, simply because the last time I tried passing such a polling
to this list, I encountered such negativity from certain list members over
it, it wasn't worth my time to put out invites, and I made a note of it.

Very true that few proprietaries are able to be read at the desk.

You CAN read Mobi that way, but the emulator I had is clunky and not worth
it, so I deleted it.

I did suggest to Kindle that they should make a decent one for the desktop.
The single book I wanted to purchase in PDF this past year and couldn't was
only available in Kindle...and I don't own a Kindle and probably never will
own one. I suggested that the emulator for the computer might get people
purchasing Kindle books that wouldn't normally. No word back from them.
They'll probably ignore me, but it was worth a try.

Heck, I still have flip viewer on my machine, Digital Content, MSReader...
If it gives me a good view of the book, I'm game for using the software to
get books I want, but I'm more dedicated than many readers are.

Fairy Dreams is the best bar none fantasy romance that I have ever read! The
action is non-stop; the deep abiding love so well portrayed that you feel as
though you are experiencing it yourself. Regina for Coffee Time Romance
