Ah! That wasn't partisan; it was a response to dej and

I suppose it is very much like Google trying to corner all 
orphans and take rights to both place works on a database 
and print any it chooses that are not its in law! But the 
issue of people is that a rather vociferous group wants for 
free what most customers are happy to pay for.

The mistake is to think that online is the only world in the 
game, or that the majority online do not pay without demur 
for what they know is copyright.

By the way Mary points out her main thrust is web pages; 
mine is books and similar works. Are you also commenting 
more about webpages than books?
