I think what we are seeing has many temporary aspects to it. 
The net is new, facebook, twitter, you tube and all the 
great blogging systems and sites are new. Many aspects of 
this are fashions of the moment.

There isn't too much of anything. Much of it is material 
serving markets never recognised before; some is slush pile 
testing its appeal. and so on. Compare any time in the past 
30 years with the 30 before it and you will see nothing but 
growth. Lots of room to consolidate and contract a bit for a 
while if need be.
