I'm not sure that this was a pirate. As was suggested earlier, the company
that uploaded these titles to Amazon's Kindle program may have simply been
someone publishing in one of the countries where Orwell's books are in the
public domain (Canada, and apparently a few countries in Europe -- NOT
including the UK).

And, we don't know if the publisher failed to indicate that they could only
publish in certain countries, or whether Amazon's system doesn't allow them
to indicate in enough detail.
