From the eBook Community Administrator: Shameless plea for donations

To The eBook Community Subscribers:

I just renewed the domain "ebookcommunity.org," which I've had since
2005.

The main purpose of the web site at "ebookcommunity.org" is to allow
access to the complete TeBC group message archive dating back to
January 1996 (13 years ago!) The current web site is pretty minimal,
but one of these days I plan to enhance it (anyone wishing to help
enhance the web site, let me know.)

Anyway, this is a shameless request to those who participate in the
TeBC discussion group to help me defray the recurring cost of domain
registration. I'm not asking for much: a dollar or two from each
active participant (poster and/or reader) would go a long way!

The best way to donate is via PayPal (send to '[email protected]'). But
I will take cash via snailmail, too (email me if you are interested in
donating by mail.)

If I get more than the $10 I am asking to cover this year's domain
re-registration, I will either apply it to next year's registration,
or if enough, extend the registration by as many years as I can (I'd
love to get 10 years, so I don't have to worry about domain
registration for a long time.)

P.S., I wish to thank James Linden for hosting the TeBC web site at
some expense to him. So if I get donations that exceed what I need
to keep the domain registration current for the next few years, I will
send James a few dollars...
