The Aluratek Libre directly supports EPUB. It works nicely without any software
needed - just put the epub files on an SD or SDHC card, slot it in, and start
reading.
I've taken a few pictures of my wife's which I keep meaning to find a way to
post. The LCD does NOT look like any of the past LCDs I've seen, as it is high
density, and very high contrast. I've been quite impressed. There are certainly
better readers out there (IREX 1000, anyone?), but not anywhere near this
price.
