Google Shuts Down Music Blogs Without Warning

In what critics are calling "musicblogocide 2010", Google has deleted at least six popular music blogs that it claims violated copyright law. These sites, hosted by Google's Blogger and Blogspot services, received notices only after their sites – and years of archives – were wiped from the internet.

'... the company that has taken to audio-blocking and deleting YT videos for rights-holders that didn't open the purse strings wide enough for Google's liking ...but that it was Google taking the initiative once revenue share negotiations broke down). A bit of hyperbole for me to suggest that they're not being honest about this, but they've shown their stripes in the past....'
