I know a lot of people are involved in getting a book ready.  Why do you think I'd be shocked?

That is not a bad point. The probable reason for the difference is the different ages of the industries. It may also be that originally the moving picture industry thought it would let them get off with paying people badly!



Everyone who has a claim on copyright for the whole book or book content will appear on teh publishing page. Often may of those involved are thanked in a preface or Foreword. In the past it was required for the printer ot include their name.



Certainly I think it would shock people like Barry to see how many people contribute to ebooks as well as print books.
